EMPLOYMENT NOTICE

The City of Hidalgo is accepting applications for the position of Peace Officers. The minimum standards to qualify:

1. U.S. Citizen / Legal Resident
2. High School Diploma or equivalent
3. Valid Driver's license
4. Possess a license by the Commission of Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Education.
5. Bilingual English / Spanish Preferred
6. Pass a psychological, physical and drug test.
7. Probationary period on (1) year for all new hires.
8. Applicants will be subject to pass a thorough back ground check.
9. Not have any arrests for misdemeanor higher than Class C.
Applications will be given at the Hidalgo Police Department at 211 E. Esperanza, Hidalgo, TX.,
