Patrol Division

Patrol Division is comprised of the officers assigned to uniformed patrol, which are the first to respond to calls for assistance in the community. The Patrol Division operates 24 hours a day 365 days a year. The Patrol Division consists of three shifts that are supervised by Patrol Seargeants. The Patrol Division provides general police services in its daily operations.

These services include but are by no means limited to the following:

Crash Investigation Response to Calls for Service Response to Calls for Emergency Medical Service Investigation of Reported Criminal Activity Directed Neighborhood Patrol Transportation of Prisoners Business Patrol Education and Community Awareness Special Projects and Community Events In case of emergency or suspicious activity, Call 9-1-1 If you have information about a crime call 843-TIPS (8477). The Tip Line is answered 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Your information will be taken in strictest confidence. Anonymity is protected and you never have to give your name.
